Patent pending Soothing Eyes™ are made from medical grade platinum cured silicone. The cured silicone that they are made from is certified by an independent laboratory to ISO 10993-10, Biological evaluation of medical devices, Part 10: Tests for irritation and skin sensitization. Inside the completely enclosed silicone, there is an inner core that blocks direct visible and UV light. Please visit the About section for more info.

Yes. Silicone is very durable, as well as, temperature, and chemical resistant. Soothing Eyes™ can be washed with soap and water. Customers have also disinfected Soothing Eyes™ using various state and federally approved chemicals like Barbicide®. Please use any chemical disinfectants according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
